Dr. Tory and MeChelle Brooks bring professional experience, personal understanding, and a shared faith-centered desire to help others care for the whole person. His clinical background. Her heart for women. Their shared faith. Together they built something they could not have built apart.
Brooks Wellness Systems™ was not born out of a business plan. It was born out of a calling. A desire to take everything they have lived, learned, and been through and offer it to the people who need it most.
His Story
Before the white coat, there was the field.
At De La Salle High School, Tory Brooks was part of the first undefeated team in school history. He earned All-American honors and helped lay the foundation for a dynasty that would go 151 games without a loss. A record that still stands today, and the story at the heart of the film When the Game Stands Tall.
He took that foundation to the University of Arizona, competing as a student-athlete under legendary coaches. The future looked wide open. Then his junior year, everything changed.
"I was living a life that was headed somewhere I couldn't come back from. God used a car accident to stop me in my tracks. Literally."
A near-fatal crash left him thrown through his windshield and in a coma for twelve days. The football career was over. But something else was just beginning. That accident became the moment his life turned toward faith, toward purpose, and toward the calling that would define everything that followed.
He went on to earn his doctorate in chiropractic and spent 25 years in practice doing work he is deeply grateful for. He was blessed to serve some of the finest athletes in the world. Over 100 NBA players, more than 30 MLB players, and 20 NFL competitors among them. Hall of Famers, MVPs, All-Stars, Cy Young winners, and All-Pro selections. He always searched for what served the person in front of him best.
Every athlete he treated taught him something. About the body, about resilience, and about what it takes to show up when it counts.
Now at 60, Tory is stepping into a new chapter alongside his beautiful bride of 23 years, MeChelle. Together they are building Brooks Wellness Systems™ and the BetterIIGether family brand with their sons Dante and Noah. The same heart they have always had. Help people feel better. Live better. And know they are not alone on the journey.
Everything he does is rooted in faith. He seeks first the kingdom and trusts God to handle the rest. As he has always said — there is nothing like a changed life.
Called By Name Ministry
Dr. Tory is also the founder of Called By Name, a men's ministry inspired by Isaiah 43:1. Through honest conversation, real stories, and a no-pressure environment, he creates space for men who are searching, skeptical, or simply ready to ask the questions they have never said out loud. You do not have to have it figured out to walk through this door.

MeChelle Brooks is a faith-centered wellness advocate, entrepreneur, wife, mother, Mimi, and co-founder of Brooks Wellness Systems™. She has a heart for women who feel tired, frustrated, and discouraged after searching for answers and still not feeling like themselves.
For more than 20 years, MeChelle helped run their chiropractic practice alongside Dr. Tory. From the front office to the daily flow of patient care, business operations, family leadership, and real-life conversations with people who were hurting, she saw firsthand how deeply connected the body, mind, emotions, habits, stress, and spiritual life really are.
That experience gave her a practical, compassionate understanding of wellness. She learned that people do not just need more information. They need clarity, encouragement, support, and a pathway that helps them take the next step without feeling overwhelmed.
She understands how overwhelming it can feel when the body begins to change and no one seems to have a clear explanation. For women navigating menopause, hormone imbalance, weight gain, insomnia, fatigue, stress, and emotional heaviness, the journey can feel lonely and hopeless. Her passion is helping women feel seen, supported, and reminded that they are not broken and they are not alone.
Through Brooks Wellness Systems™, MeChelle helps women begin connecting the dots between the body, mind, emotions, habits, stress, and faith. She believes wellness is rarely about one single issue. It is all connected. Her approach encourages women to stop fighting their bodies and begin learning how to love, listen to, and support them while taking simple steps toward healing and wholeness.
Flowing Radiance Ministry
MeChelle is also the founder of Flowing Radiance, a women's ministry inspired by Psalm 34:5. Through encouragement, devotionals, and faith-based reflections, she gently reminds women that true healing touches the heart, the mind, the body, and the spirit.
MeChelle's heart is to help women move from exhaustion and discouragement into hope, clarity, confidence, and whole-body wellness so they can become the best version of themselves.
We truly are better together. We believe God brought our strengths together on purpose, allowing our perspectives to balance each other and our shared calling to serve with greater wisdom, compassion, and clarity.
