Energy begins at the cellular level.
Many people think of energy as motivation, discipline, or willpower. BWS looks deeper. Real energy depends on how well your cells convert nutrients, oxygen, water, minerals, and rest into usable fuel.

NAD+ is a coenzyme involved in cellular energy production. Dr. Tory’s Energy pathway highlights NAD+ because levels may decline with age, stress load, and lifestyle patterns that challenge recovery.
This does not mean one support tool fixes energy by itself. In BWS, NAD+ support sits inside a larger rhythm that includes hydration, protein, minerals, sleep, Zone 2 movement, sunlight, and rest.
Hydration is an energy issue.
Energy is not only about calories. The body needs water and electrolytes to support cellular communication, muscle function, circulation, temperature regulation, and the electrical activity that keeps the body working.
Many people drink water but still miss the mineral and timing piece. This is why the Energy pathway emphasizes hydration before caffeine, electrolytes when appropriate, and consistent sipping instead of waiting until the body feels depleted.
Caffeine can mask fatigue without restoring energy.

Zone 2 movement helps build energy capacity.
Zone 2 movement is steady, conversational movement. You are working, but you can still speak in full sentences. This level of movement is especially valuable in the Energy pathway because it supports mitochondrial capacity without pushing the body into unnecessary depletion.
Walking, cycling, swimming, rowing, or gentle incline walking can all work when done at the right dose. The goal is not to collapse after movement. The goal is to build the energy system slowly and consistently.
